About
The story behind Evela
Evela Stays began with our own homes: listed Georgian houses and characterful cottages across York and the Dales. We built the systems, standards and team to run them well.
We specialise in larger homes, typically four bedrooms and above, for group and corporate stays. Families gathering for a celebration, friends marking a milestone, teams working on a project: we tailor every booking to the people staying, from arrival times and room plans to private chefs, extras and invoicing.
Each home is cared for by our own team, cleaned to hotel standard and ready for the people you want around the table. We'd rather look after fewer homes brilliantly than many homes adequately.
Your host
Meet your host
Hello, I'm Ewelina. I came to York from Poland 18 years ago, fell in love with the city and made it my home. I'm a mum and a dog owner, so I know how much a warm, welcoming house matters when you're away with the people you love. I look after every Evela home personally, so if you need anything during your stay, or would like a recommendation, please get in touch.
